- Few Hiccups and Sneezing in a day.
- Spitting/Regurgitation/Posetting of milk (small quantity) after feeds 2-3 times a day
- Crying while urinating
- Red blood spot in the white portion of the eyes (Subconjunctival haemorrhage)
- Weight loss (Term babies 1-2 % a day & 10 % in 1st week of life, Preterm babies 15% weight loss upto 2 weeks)
- Startling movements in response to sudden movement or sound.
- Small amount of bleeding from vagina
- Baby passing White discharge / mucus through vagina
- Breast engorgement (Concerned only if it is red, painful, has any discharge)
Some normal skin problems which are self subsiding
- Erythema Toxicum (Red coloured mildly elevated rash like flea bites on face, chest, trunk but sparing palms & soles)- Disappears in 3-5 days.
- Milia (White or cream coloured pinhead sized fluid filled eruptions on forehead, face, nose and chest) - Disappear by 1 month
- Epstein pearls ( Similar like milia but seen on the hard palate of mouth) - Disappears by 1 month
- Skin peeling in Post term babies
